WereRenamon chapter 3

After the incident, I went back to get clothes for my human form.  I wanted to travel and I figured it was best to not look like a digimon.  My human form took a while to get used to since I was in my Renamon form for my whole life.  However, I'm a fast learner and I have werewolf DNA so it wasn't so bad.  Luckily, the lab had regular clothes for me to borrow.
I traveled from town to town exploring.  I also used my Renamon form to delete evil digimon, and save a few innocent ones.  However, I still couldn't find a place to live.  I now knew how that Patamon felt and wanted even more to help other digimon out.  I still wanted to find a place to live first.  I thought I'd try to go to the digital world.
I didn't know where any portals were but my Renamon DNA told me about them and the digital world itself.  In the next town I visited, I asked a friendly WarGreymon if he knew where one was.  He told me it was in the middle of town and he led me to it.  I will never forget my first time in the digital world.  I feel there are a lot of things I'll never forget.
I went through the portal the WarGreymon led me to and I landed in a field filled with grass and flowers.  It was a beautiful site.  If it weren't for my need of food and water, I would've decided to live there.  As it was, I knew I had to move on so I reluctantly left.  However, I promised myself to go back there someday.
I went from there to continue looking for a new home while checking out the digital world.  I don't think I belong in the real world or the digital world, but I know I love them both.  They both have a lot to offer especially in terms of beauty.  They also both have their downsides of course.
Anyway, while I was exploring a forest area, I heard a cry.  I ran toward it then saw a Gabumon lying on the ground in front of a village.  He was hurt and in front of Gabumon was a Mummymon.  I knew what that meant and what Mummymon said confirmed it and more.
"Poor little digimon," he said.  "It seems it's almost too easy to hurt you without the guardian here.  I think it's time to delete you."
He aimed his gun at the Gabumon but I ran up in time to save him with my Wild Paw.  The Mummymon thought I'd make more of a challenge then so we battled.  I won it the end with my Crystal Silo attack.  It's not instant death or anything but it's powerful enough to delete a weakened opponent.
After the battle, Gabumon thanked me and offered me to go to the village with him.  I agreed and asked him what Mummymon meant by the guardian.
"Oh, that," he said.  "You see, Gallentmon is the guardian of this city and he protects us from evil digimon like that.  The reason he's gone is because he went to find food for us.  Thanks again for saving me."
"Yes, thank you for saving him while I was gone," said a strange voice from behind me.  I looked back and saw a red and white digimon with a lance and a shield as arms and with gold around his shield.  He was carrying a large bag between him and his shield.
"Gallentmon!"  Gabumon yelled with happiness.  "I'm glad you're back."
"It's good to be back, Gabumon," Gallentmon said.  "As I was saying, stranger, thanks for saving Gabumon while I was gone.  I noticed the fight but of course all that food slowed me down.
"It was no problem," I said.  "I couldn't leave an innocent creature in danger or let an evil one go free like that."
"Yes, well put.  Hmm.  How would like to be the guardian while I'm gone?  I'll give you a place to stay and take care of you like the others and all you have to do is fight digimon who threaten any of the villagers while I'm gone or if I may need help."
"I'd love to!  I've been looking for a place to live and this is a great chance to fight evil digimon and defend the good ones.  I'll be your replacement guardian."
That's how I ended up being the backup guardian for Flashflare village.   I got my own house and Gallentmon kept his promises.  In return, I helped out the village when he was gone and met lots of friends.  I went back to the human world when I knew Gallentmon wouldn't leave for the heck of it and also to protect digimon there.  That's how I learned Professor Logan had a surprise before he died.
